Wine and Chocolate! Yummmmmmm! Two things that can never, ever go wrong. And to that mix if we add hot chocolate, which has to be the most sought-after comfort drink in the world, you have magic!
So Richa Gupta of My Food Story and I decided to do a food photography session and I decided this was going to be my recipe for the D-Day.
I have to tell you, there is something deliciously exciting about pouring wine into hot chocolate. It’s a heady mix of exciting, forbidden things. Yes, I’m still talking about food 😉 !and once we made the drink that was exactly what it was, heady, exciting, chocolatey indulgence.
And oh! I have to, have to mention this blue board. Isn’t it the stuff of dreams! I absolutely love it!! Thanks Richa for inviting me over and letting my food come alive against that gorgeous blue tint…
This is a delightfully simple recipe to make, so do test it out and let me know how it goes! I love the bitter aftertaste of dark chocolate, so I chose the dark variety (yes, I love the edgy things :D). But if you prefer the milder tones of milk chocolate, use that in your recipe, or you could even try a mix of the two.
